Andy Sherwin (SH 93-00) married Magdelena Stoik on 31st July 2010.

It was a wonderful day, with around 130 friends and family members celebrating the day with us, firstly in St. Peter's Church in Vienna, and then in a typical Viennese Heurige (wine tavern). We were very lucky that for one week either side of our wedding day, the weather was typically West Cumbrian, yet we had glorious sunshine and about 28 degrees in the shade.
Due to the volcanic activity in Iceland at the time, a number of friends from England weren't able to make it to the wedding, but all those who made it had (I hope), a great time, and helped to make the day so special for Magdalena, Elliott (our son) and me.
I hope that we'll be able to get over to Cumbria in May 2011, and whilst we're over I really want to show Mags around the school... although she might not be in too fair a condition to do much walking, as we're expecting a baby in July!
